Is CPEforEnrolledAgents qualified to offer CPE courses to IRS Enrolled Agents?

Yes, see IRS Approved.

I am a CPA, can I do your courses?

No. CPEforEnrolledAgents.com's courses are only available to individuals enrolled to practice before the IRS (i.e. Enrolled Agents) see IRS Approved.

Do I need to have purchased a course to access course review questions?

No. Course review questions are open to all. Go to our CPE Course catalog, click on the Course title and have a go at the Course's review questions and submit your answers for marking. We will tell you if you attained 'an exam passing performance' on them.

I am a new client. Why can't I create a new log-in identity for myself?

After you purchase your first course from our CPE Course catalog, Google Checkout will immediately email your log-in details directly to you when you can log-in and access your MyCPECourses page.

I made my first course purchase but did not receive my log-in details.

Your log-in details are automatically sent to you by our server within a minute of receiving your order. Check your SPAM filter folder and, if the email is there, move it to your inbox. Alternatively, you can email us here and we will email them back to you.

I cannot log-in - there's something wrong with my log-in details.

Your log-in details are those provided in the New Student email you received after your first course purchase. You should copy/paste them into the appropriate log-in boxes.

I lost my password. What should I do? We have an automatic lost password facility. This requires you to provide the Google Checkout email address sent to you in the New Student email you received after your first course purchase because we do not have any other email address for you. Alternatively, you can email us here. In your email, please state your full name and address that you signed up with. If this matches our records, we will email back to you your log-in details.
After purchase, when will I have access to my exam?

Because your purchase is considered a 'digital download', availability is immediate. If you were logged-in to our site during purchase you may have to refresh {F5} your MyCPECourses page to reveal the purchased course.

My purchased course has not appeared despite refreshing MyCPECourses page?

Your credit card transaction may not have been authorized by your bank. Recently, we have seen a rise in credit card authorization delays, including one that lasted 1 hour, 23 mins. You should periodically refresh your MyCPECourse page until the course appears.

What happens if I inadvertently purchase the same course twice?

After your first course purchase, you should ensure that you are logged-in for future course purchases. We have a safeguard in place to prevent duplicate course purchases by logged-in users. In addition, you have refund rights under our guarantee.

Can I do my exam in more than one sitting?

No. We recommend that you print out your exam first, then, when you are ready, input your answers online and submit for marking.

Can I fax my exam solution to you instead of online submission?

Yes. Please remember to state whether you want your CPE certificate by fax or email.

How many times can I attempt a course exam?

You may attempt a course exam as many times as you like within a year of purchasing the course until you achieve a passing score.

I am having problems passing my exam. Can you help?

Our course exam questions sequentially follow the referenced IRS Publication. For example, on Course 032009, the answers to the first three questions are found on pages 8, 10 & 11 of Pub. 17. Subsequent exam answers sequentially follow the IRS Publication up to page 117 where the answer to question 42 is to be found.

On each exam, there is a mix of easy, medium & difficult questions Consequently, you should distinguish between those questions where you are sure of the answers and those you are less sure of and review your answers to the latter. .

How many exam questions must I get right to gain a passing score?

True/False questions score 2 points and Multi-choice questions 4 points. A passing grade is awarded for overall scores of 70% or more.

Do you provide technical references for correct exam answers?

We provide you with the correct answers when you pass. We do not keep technical reference information on the website. Please email us after passing the exam if you would like to see this.

What do I do if I lose my CPE course completion certificate?

You can print out another copy of your certificate from My CPE Courses whenever you wish. CPEforEnrolledAgents.com will maintain your CPE course records for at least 3 years.

Can I get my money back after purchasing a course?

Yes. See our guarantee.

Do you retain or have access to my credit card information?

No. Your credit card details are held by Google Checkout. We do not have access to them.

Does CPEforEnrolledAgents update its CPE courses and if so, when?

Generally our CPE courses are based on IRS Publications as they apply to the previous tax year. Our policy is to update courses shortly after the receipt of IRS Publication updates. For example, Publication 17 upon which courses 032009 and 042009 are based, is usually updated in November. However, most IRS Publications are updated in January or later which is why some course updates for the 2009 tax year will occur later in 2010.
